The English Concert in America Fellowship

The Future Masters of Historical Performance

About the Fellowship

In addition to its association with The English Concert, TECA has established a partnership with Juilliard’s Department of Historical Performance. Students in this esteemed program dedicate themselves to the study and performance of music from the late 16th to early 19th centuries, using period instruments and historically informed techniques.

Through this collaboration, TECA offers a limited number of highly competitive Fellowships to outstanding Juilliard graduates. TECA Fellows receive more than just a monetary award: they are welcomed into a vibrant community of artists committed to historical performance at the highest level. The Fellowship provides access to leading figures in the field and the chance to learn from, record, and perform alongside The English Concert – opportunities that bridge academic study with real-world artistic experience.
